Description

Cuba Aliados Vintage cigars are drafted from old family recipes from the cookbook of legendary cigar-maker Rolando Reyes Sr., aka Roly. Although Roly passed away in 2012, his blends live on under the stewardship of his grandson, Carlos Diez, who ensures Cuba Aliados cigars are handcrafted to the same standards for quality and taste established by his grandfather. Roly began making cigars at the age of nine in Cuba and departed the island nation in 1975 at the age of fifty-one. He went on to create the Cuba Aliados and Puros Indios brands in Honduras and was well known for his attention to detail. A lifetime of knowledge of blending, aging, and producing premium cigars is reflected in Cuba Aliados Vintage. An oily Honduran Maduro wrapper leaf embraces an intricate core of Dominican and Nicaraguan long-fillers handmade in a series of popular sizes. A medium-bodied profile of malted chocolate, smoked meat, leather, and pepper precedes a bold but nicely balanced finish. Add budget-friendly boxes of Cuba Aliados to your coolerdor from one of the most dedicated and passionate cigar-makers of his day.
